C-SPAN

There are things we should be able to agree on. A sign reading "No Racism No Hate" should be one of them. Not at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, apparently.

On Tuesday night, CSPAN ran a live shot of a woman in the audience unfolding the very provocative sign in question. People in the crowd quickly proceeded to cover her up with gigantic American flags, prompting her to keep moving.

In the clip, an elderly woman pulls on the fabric sign, trying to snatch it away. A man does the same. Before the camera cuts away, a small mob has formed around her. An American flag is completely blocking the dangerous sign from being visible to the cameras.

On Facebook, singer Vanessa Carlton posted the video:

Glad that was cleared up, so we could focus on the important, inclusive, life affirming, and definitely not-racist stuff taking place on stage.
