Are pregnancy abs a new thing?
Entertainment Tonight posted pictures from Los Angeles-based model Sarah Stage's Instagram account and thanks to clever bending, basketball camouflage, and her six pack you can barely tell that Stage is 8 1/2 months pregnant.
Stage has burger emoji flanking her name coupled with tons of pictures of her working out; she also posted a picture noting that her baby is now 5 lbs. lest you think she's damaging her kid by being the Hulk Hogan of pregnancy.
I applaud her commitment to her fitness routine while she's lugging around an entire human being inside of her, but I also feel like pregnancy is typically a time to relax, and the only 9 months out of a woman's life where our culture isn't actively judging a woman for what she eats or how she looks. Stage may just be doing her thing, but what do you think? Is this just another example of "all bodies are different" or a new way to judge other women by impossible standards?
