A police sergeant in Detroit took #AllLivesMatter to its logical extreme with a Facebook post comparing Beyonce's Super Bowl halftime dancers to the Ku Klux Klan. After complaints from other police officers, the sergeant took the post down, but now the post is being subjected to an internal police investigation, Fox Detroit reports.

The post reads: "So if the dance troupe at the top is ok for this years' half time show, then the one at the bottom should be ok for next years', right?" This comes in the wake of a spate of right-wing outrage over Beyonce's performance of her new song "Formation" at the Super Bowl. Critics said the routine was anti-cop and evoked the Black Panthers.

According to the Detroit News, the sergeant, who CBS Detroit reports has been employed by the department for 17 years, is still on duty as the investigation continues.

"I received calls indirect and direct from employees throughout the organization troubled by it," Detroit Chief of Police James Craig told Fox Detroit. "Certainly this does not and shouldn't represent our police officers."
